Inside in nature!
In times of digitization, there is a great longing for honest materials and a down-to-earth attitude. The trend towards earthy men’s beards and lumberjack shirts is not tearing off. Countless illustrated books on hideaways and cozy furnishings make us dream. Sustainable design can meet various criteria. One criterion is the use of natural materials. Natural processing can reduce the harmful substances that are released into the air and improve the indoor climate. In addition, natural surfaces just feel beautiful.
Renewable: bamboo
The New Zealand designer David Trubridge is often inspired by nature in his designs. The lamp Hinaki is reminiscent of fish traps. The untreated bamboo elements are packed flat in an environmentally friendly manner and, thanks to their size between 500 mm – 1400 mm, look like art objects in the room.
That grows and grows and grows
The Moolin lights are made by the Chen family in an idyllic village in southern China. The cultivation and processing of a particularly fast-growing type of bamboo has a long tradition here. The secure income from the lasfera cooperation enables the daughter to have a good school education.
