Following the 2020/2021 Sustainability Report, the second COR Sustainability Report 2022/2023 was presented this year, which impressively shows how the company has come closer to its sustainability goals and initiated new developments in the last two years.

The standardisation roadmap from DIN, DKE and VDI provides an overview of the status quo of standardisation in the field of circular economy, describes requirements and challenges for seven key topics and formulates specific needs for action for future norms and standards. Tina Kammer worked on the developments in the working group. >>>

‘Affordable housing and innovative construction’
Tina Kammer has been part of the ‘Knowledge transfer, networking and exchange’ working group since summer 2022 and discusses the most important challenges of planning, building and housing in Baden-Württemberg with experts. The initial results of the various working groups were presented to a large audience in Karlruhe on 13 July 2023.

The construction industry is changing. What does this mean for future-orientated business models? What opportunities does this present?
md editor-in-chief Johanna Pimenta summarised: ‘There is no other planet in the universe far and wide that we can live on, and we have nothing better to do than destroy it.’ Our thought patterns, which have existed since industrialisation, prevent us from rethinking. We are doing well, so why change anything? Architect Tina Kammer describes this way of thinking using the mindset and feelingset errors that we carry within us.
We support and promote the transformation towards circular construction. The building sector is responsible for around 40% of CO2 emissions worldwide and is therefore a key lever in reducing GHGs to achieve the Paris Climate Agreement. Initiatives and associations are essential for focussed contact with politics and business – which is why we support Architects for Future in their work.
