Together with the publishing house av edition, we will publish the 1st yearbook in autumn 2023. 50 international projects present the most innovative and forward-looking solutions whose contribution to building cultural development is clearly recognisable. The focus is on all relevant topics of transformational development: sufficiency efforts, resource use, circular processes and strategies, socio-cultural aspects, biodiversity and much more. As editors and authors, we look at current developments in the building sector and whet the appetite for something new.
Last December the specialist publisher av edition invited us to the book launch at the Theater der Altstadt in Stuttgart. In front of a full house, publisher Petra Kiedaisch spoke with us, as editors and authors, about the creation of the first yearbook and the background to the selection and the sustainable approaches of the projects. >>>
The construction industry is undergoing change. What does this mean for future-oriented business models? What opportunities arise from this?

On the occasion of the publication of the first JUNG sustainability report, Studio InteriorPark. developed a pop-up installation during Furisalone in Brera Milan 2023. Walls and floors made of 100% recycled cardboard were hand-painted by mural artist Jay MT, accompanied by spherical sounds by DJ Jens Herzberg. In addition, the furnishings consisted of exhibition stands, storage boxes and lights that will be reused in the future. >>>

“Affordable housing and innovative building”.
Since summer 2022, Tina Kammer has been part of the working group “Knowledge Transfer, Networking and Exchange” and has been discussing the most important challenges of planning, building and housing in Baden-Württemberg with experts. The first results of the various working groups were presented in a large round on 13 July 2023 in Karlruhe.
The standardisation roadmap from DIN, DKE and VDI provides an overview of the status quo of standardisation in the field of Circular Economy, describes requirements and challenges for seven key topics and formulates concrete needs for action for future standards. Tina Kammer worked on the developments in the working group. >>>
