Black is back.
Nomad rugs are characterized by the aesthetics of simplicity. The design language is clear and contemporary, calm and yet idiosyncratic.
Rubber Rug is an upcycling rug full of flexibility and dynamism. Rough, sexy, elegant. Old bicycle tubes are connected with PP yarns suitable for outdoor use, the materials play with each other in multiple layers. Tricky and artful: The “mixed chain” works with different degrees of tension and thus creates the unmistakable surface of the carpet.
Rubber rug is protagonist and antagonist at the same time, merges with architecture and yet stands out. In the bar, on the terrace, in the hotel or in unconventional places – also privately. With this rug for indoors and outdoors, Nomad is once again creating something unprecedented, putting upcycling in a new aesthetic context. To surprise and question, arouse curiosity and experience the impossible.
Our Nomad rugs bring sustainable interior into fashionable homes and pair inventive craftsmanship from India, with timeless European design. Made out of candy wrapper from the Himalaya mountains, united with new wool and turned into a magical rug woven in a small town in India, the Nomad carpets create a new standard of design for conscious consumers and open a new perspective on the aesthetic of recycled materials which, no doubt, are the materials our future is made of.
We created the Nomad design rugs with the purpose to support local workers in foreign countries, preserve traditional craftsmanship and shape the daily life of people who aim for high end quality and never-before-seen designs.
Rugs for Individualists – One of a kind design rugs, bringing sustainable interior pieces into your home.
The first Nomad campaign
Nomad wants more, can do more, is more. Products that are essential and unique, firmly anchored in the here and now and yet for eternity. A new connection, shaped by contemporary design. In the center: unique upcycling carpets. Inspired by distant places, as fascinating as the surface of gently undulating water. Selected accessories form the nomad’s entourage Collection.
Creatives from all over the world shape their shape – together with founder Jutta Werner. It starts with photographer Anna Daki, who does cover shoots for Vogue and Harper‘s Bazaar responsible for the first Nomad campaign.
