We visited the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and were amazed about the quite experimental approach. Students from different universities showed their masterpieces and studies about new materials, future-orientated manufacturing processes and design developments in and for the future.
Getting all the deep thoughts and backgrounds behind those studies required a lot of reading. The content was huge and the details amazing. To give you an idea about some of the projects we selected only a few. One overall impression was the use of natural materials, like hemp and mushrooms, of paper and of recycled plastics. Additionally some studies showed the development of new materials based on technology and science.
